It was just Wubben-Moy's third England cap, but she made it a memorable night by scoring just seconds after the first whistle to set the tone for the Lionesses' emphatic win. Williamson, who had to withdraw from the squad due to a hamstring issue, kept a close watch on the action in Spain and had a little message for her Arsenal teammate on her special day.

Wubben-Moy's celebration was a tribute to an inspirational, deaf England fan, Izzy, with whom she had a brief encounter back in July 2023. It is a fun move which involves a brief yet rapid shake of the hips with the arms crossed against each other.
